The Great Hospital has, since 1249, had an unbroken history of providing care and support to older citizens of the City of Norwich who are in need. The well-being of our residents is at the forefront of our mind in all that we do and the Trustees are very aware that they are the custodians of buildings that have a unique historic and architectural value. As a private institution, we receive no external support and our ability to fund future work depends on the investment income from the various historic legacies. Any help you are able to give will enable us to secure the future for this ancient foundation.
